Two guests from the Duluth Fire Dept. will speak about the All-Hazard Water Craft: Asst. Chief Reff and Captain Kleive. Here are details about the vessel. Answers to questions submitted are here.

Neighbor Jim Ouray will be requesting community support for the May 15 Smelt Parade. Jim will explain the event which the club has supported in 2012-2015. More details here on Facebook.

Neighbor Coral McDonnell will be requesting support for funding of new potting beds in the Lafayette Community Edible Garden. See proposal here, Community Garden Proposal

The Breeze Editor contract will be up for a vote. The executive board will be meeting about this before the regular meeting at 5:45 to discuss this and the above agenda items. Contract proposal here.

Kris Eilers with the St. Louis River Alliance will bring the good news of estuary clean-up. Here is a link to their website. There are several upcoming events that you may want to check out.

Councilor Em Westerlund is planning on stopping in at the meeting at Lafayette.
