Update from Sally Buck of the Youth Committee
Hello participants in the Park Point Summer Youth Program,
The program has started for 2018! Kevin Chederquist is the Director and Karen Boynton is the assistant. This week on Wednesday, the kids will do a beach sweep to pick up garbage, driftwood for a project and take pictures. If you have a kid-friendly camera, please send with your child or grandchild. On Thursday, June 15, the program will be taking the bus to the Rowing Club and the Park Point airport for a tour as well as visiting the beach house for a naturalist program.
Just a few reminders:
- Hours: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm Monday–Thursday
- Field trips: Tuesday = Library; Thursday = other events announce weekly; bus pick up at 9:30 am and drop off by 3:30 pm
- If you need to reach Kevin to notify him of different pick-up or drop off arrangements, his number is 218-940-1464
- Please send a morning snack if your kids are coming all morning such as yogurt, granola bar or fruit. There is a toaster and fridge if you’d like to send a loaf of bread and peanut butter or milk and cereal for the week.

- Daily please bring a lunch, water bottle, snack, jacket, bathing suit and towel.
We still have space available, especially in late July and August if you know of other families looking for an active, outdoor based summer program.
